Guidelines for creating outdoor made-to-measure worktops: Finishes Made-to-measure worktops in AISI 316 stainless steel are available in two finishes: the Satin finish creates a refined and elegant look, while the Vintage finish brings the material to life using a special manual processing technique, which makes each piece truly one of a kind. Dimension limits All our worktops can be made to measure. The maximum size of the sheet metal for worktops in AISI 316 stainless steel with a Satin or Vintage finish is 4200x1250 mm. The theoretical sizing is calculated as follows: worktop length/depth + 2 x thickness + lower folds. Worktop depth Worktops can be wall-mounted with a depth of between 300 mm and 750 mm and island-mounted with a depth of between 751 mm and 1200 mm; above one metre, only 6, 8 or 12 mm thick edging can be used. Available edge thicknesses 6 - 8 - 12 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 60 mm Worktop reinforcement panels All worktops have an internal aluminium support for added stability and greater resistance to external forces. Joints If you need a worktop that is longer than the maximum specified size limits, two or more worktops can be joined at 45° or 90° to create an L-shaped or linear composition. 40 and 60 mm thick worktops come prepared with holes in the thickness of the top to join them together. Hobs Any Thalas hob (Satin finish only) can be built into AISI 316 stainless steel made-to-measure worktops. Sinks It is possible to weld onto AISI 316 stainless steel worktops sinks R. "0" with lowering, sinks R. "0" with cover and square bowls R. "12", in Satin or Vintage finish. Other workings Splash backs, upstands, sides, doors and shelves can all be made from AISI 316 stainless steel.
